Join me for a new series of my advanced workshop dance classes this Spring.
The course is aimed at improver to advanced bellydancers, who would like to develop their technique across various styles, as well as overall performance skills and dance flow.
Each class will be taught as a stand alone 2 hour workshop consisting of a core strengthening warm up, dance stretches, isolations and technique drills, which will all be combined into a mini choreography or combination at the end. There will also be individual feedback, group exercises and a cool down. See the full schedule below.
We dance in the lovely bright and mirrored first floor studio at the River Bourne Health Club in Chertey (Heriot Road, KT13 9DR) from 11:30am-1:30pm. How to find us

18 February: Baladi Beauty – learn how to nail the feeling, technique, arms and travelling steps for a truly beautiful Egyptian Baladi
25 March: Powerful Oriental – perfect your technique and performance skills for a graceful, beautiful but also powerful Oriental!
29 April: Sassy Saidi – with or without a stick, learn how to play up or down the earthiness of your Saidi using traditional as well as modern step combination (please bring you own said cane)
20 May: Gypsy Fire – we’ll learn the basics steps of Romani dance and then layer it with fancy skirt work, foot stomping and gestures. Expect lots of fun and laughs! (please bring a big circular or gypsy skirt)
10 June: Wings, veils and fans – discover techniques and tips to give you more confidence and power when performing with isis wings, veils and fan-veils. (if you have please bring your own wings, veil and fans along. A few will be available to borrow in class).
