The sessions can be used to develop anything from personal technique, and performance skills to polishing a choreography or stage performance. Prices start at £50 for a 60 minute session (excluding transport and studio hire), and 2 people can share a lesson for the same price. Book a course of 5 sessions and save £5 per lesson. Private lesson may also be taught in your own home or in my personal studio.

“I have been lucky enough to have had one to one coaching with Ishtar, which has been the best thing I could have done. It has helped with my development as a dancer but most of all the confidence Ishtar has given me is priceless. With her patience and expertise she encourages your potential, as well as builds confidence and dance techniques. Couldn’t recommend enough,” Anita Burkin, Surrey
As an accredited JWAAD teacher and National Assessor, I offer Technique Reviews as part of the Personal Development Programme (PDP). The programme has been created to support individual dancers through their development and provide a tailored plan to focus their learning on the areas that will benefit them the most.
The Review is a relaxed and friendly 30 minute session, where individual dance moves are assessed to identify your strengths and weaknesses, and then an action plan is agreed to work on. This is really useful if you feel you are ready for specific feedback, and can really push your dancing to the next level.
Afterwards your assessment papers are sent to JWAAD and then posted to you along with your Certificate, Technique Review tick sheet and your Personal Development Plan for future progression.
For more information about PDP please visit the JWAAD website.
