About the class: Join our fun and inclusive day time bellydance class in central Weybridge. This is a general level dance class so beginners as well as more experienced students are welcome. We will work on some of the basics of bellydance before putting them together into a fun combination, to allow you to gain a strong foundation in the ancient art of bellydance.
Spaces are strictly limited so booking is essential.
What to expect?
Bellydance is a low-impact and fun way to exercise and move your body. It’s suitable for women aged 14+ and up of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels. Upon booking you’ll receive an email with all the practical details for the class so you’ll know what to bring, and there will of course be hip belts to borrow in class.
The class will start promptly at 11:30 am, so please arrive no later than 15 minutes before so you can get settled in and be ready to dance.
We will start with a gentle warm-up, before learning some of the basic moves and we will then string these together into a combination, that will allow us to do as much actual dancing as possible. The class will finish with a gentle stretch and cool down before finishing at 12:30 pm.
The class is set to run in 5-week increments with a week or two in between, to allow for half term and other holidays. Meaning, you’ll get a minimum of 5-weeks intensive belly dance learning each term.
Should you have any questions about the class, then please don’t hesitate to email me here.
