We’ll explore how important correct creating is during dancing and not least performing, to improve dance quality but also to bring new dynamics into your performance. We will work with silk veils as well as with out. We will also look at how control and stillness can help bring more life and interest to your dancing, whilst giving you essential time to enjoy the moment and prepare for the next steps.
Please bring a silk dance veil. There will also be some to borrow in class.
The workshop will take place on either the 14th or 21st of July, but if you have a preference please let me know asap. Date will be confirmed before May.
13 or 20 October (date still to be confirmed): Baladi building blocks

We’ll work on traditional as well as unexpected combos, and of course those all important powerful hips and accents! Add a pinch of Cairo flourish and you’ll be well on your way to build your own beautiful and strong Baladi.
